Icp Strategy Senior Manager (Remote)

We have 2 new Strategy Senior Manager roles available within our International & Corporate Partnerships (ICP) team, which is part of our Health Insurance business. 

The ICP team exists to deliver growth, value, and mutually beneficial relationships for Bupa. We work with our partners across universities and institutions, education and migration agents, and corporate and broker clients to support the end-to-end health and wellness needs of their own clients, students and employees.

The opportunity: 

In this role you’ll be leading, designing and delivering the strategy, target segments, value proposition and defining the underlying initiatives that will successfully drive profitable growth. 

We’re looking for a driven leader with the ability to work across the Corporate, International as well as Bupa Wellness portfolios. We need someone with outstanding commercial acumen, people leadership experience and the ability to influence across a complex matrix environment.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

• Proven ability to partner with key business stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with experience in working with senior business leaders.
• Deep experience in solving complex business problems through strategy development.
• Experience managing strategic projects from commencement to completion. 
• Deep experience in working collaboratively across stakeholder groups to ensure that there is broad engagement and buy-in. 
• Experience developing business strategies including strategic planning, development of Plan on a Page and longer term (5yr+) strategy. 
• Proven experience in strategy performance tracking including the development of lead and lag measures and reporting. 
• Leadership experience in translating insight into strategy and action.
• Experience in influence across a matrix structure.

This is a permanent role, that can be based in either Melbourne or Tasmania, we offer hybrid work arrangements so you can work from our head office in the city or work from home.  

How will I help?

You will add value by:

• Partnering with ICP leadership to provide strategic direction for the Corporate, International as well as Bupa Wellness portfolios. 
• Leading the development and maintenance of key strategy documents including ICP strategy on a page. 
• Partnering with the International, Corporate and Bupa Wellness portfolios and leading the development of each portfolio’s longer term 3-year roadmap of key initiatives. 
• Solving complex business problems by applying structured frameworks and bringing together cross functional teams. You’ll need to have the demonstrated ability to operate with imperfect and limited information and be experienced in utilising both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decision making. 
• Providing commercial support and assisting in the development of business cases as well as in Bupa’s strategy and finance annual planning processes. 
• Leveraging and communicating deep market and customer insights to inform decision making that identifies and articulates target segments and corresponding value propositions. 
• Informing and executing acquisition, optimisation & retention proposition strategy across new and existing partners to secure long-term sustainable partnerships and deliver growth in attractive market segments. 
• Influencing product development and channel initiatives to support acquisition, optimisation & retention strategies. 
• Maintaining and developing strategic alignment with key internal stakeholders to identify and create opportunities for the broader Bupa business.
