Ife Mechanic (Remote)

Job description / Role

Synopsis

Perform and assist line and light maintenance to ensure IFE operations are executed safely and efficiently.

Accountabilities

– Execute line and light aircraft on IFE maintenance as directed by the team leader to ensure proper functioning of equipment according to safety standards and regulations
– Carry out sweep check, report and fix findings according to the company standards and procedure
– Assist when required for media, content and SW load
– Ensure that all maintenance actions are properly documented in line with regulations
– Monitor equipment labelling and packing to ensure compliance to standards
– Properly store and maintain tooling and equipment to ensure it is organized according to internal procedures and regulations.

– Minimum Diploma (2 years or more), Familiarity with maintenance regulations is required.
– Minimum of 1 year of experience within relevant field
– Hands on experience working with IFE Systems
– Should be able to successfully resolve a technical issue with an IFE system
