Job Salary: $67,500 – $112,000

Job Title: Image Service Specialist (Full-time, permanent)

Job Summary:

As a key subject matter expert, participate in the ongoing evolution and process improvements of Alimentiv’ imaging services. Provide image services expertise to internal and external stakeholders in areas of data collection and user system operations. Contribute to image services continual improvement in all areas – quality assurance, systems development, process implementation, problem resolution, user training and documentation. Support the company in achieving objectives and strategic goals. May require availability to work shifts, statutory holidays and provide on-call support from time to time.

Department Support

• Serve as a key subject matter expert, providing expertise to internal and external stakeholders in areas of data collection and user system operations.
• Participate in and/or lead Image Services and cross functional working groups and contribute to the implementation of new technologies and process improvement across all Image Services’ modalities.
• Regularly review and recommend efficiencies to image services activities ensuring focus on data integrity and stakeholder support in accordance with standard processes, sponsor guidelines, industry best practices and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Image Services and the wider organization through information sharing, training and education.
• Promote and be an advocate of Image Services internally and externally.
• Coach, mentor and/or train Image Services staff and contribute to peer selection and orientation.
• Lead or participate in the development, review and implementation of processes, systems, policies, SOPs/WI’s and associate documents affecting Image Services.

Project Support

• Oversee and assist in all Image Services’ activities from study start-up through final study close out, including but not limited to:
• Creation and maintenance of study-specific Work Instructions
• Tracking of study-specific training, and user system access
• Performance of periodic file reviews
• Reconciliation and transfer of study images at study close.
• Act as point of escalation for the resolution of project and sponsor related issues.
• Participate in internal and sponsor meetings as required, working directly with the assigned project manager and team to provide Image Service support.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a minimum of 4-6 years of related work experience with ongoing training and a College Diploma/Degree, or a minimum of one or two-year post-secondary education certificate in a relevant field of study and 7-9 years of experience. The successful candidate must exhibit the following skills: Knowledge of DICOM imaging, ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
