Implementation Project Specialist (Remote)

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager in Malaysia /Singapore to oversee projects for Oracle Restaurant group in Malaysia/ Singapore region and with experience in implementing Point of Sale (POS) solutions. Operates independently to perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Job Description

• Accountable for managing project lifecycle of assigned Oracle POS Product implementations and/or customization projects for Food & Beverage clients
• Will manage projects ranging from small to big-sized locations, POS rollouts repeatable extensibility, exports, imports or reports.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders (client, Oracle management and project team)
• Manages scope, communication, change control, budget, risks, issues, staff, governance, quality and acceptance planning
• Participates in project estimation process assisting pre-sales team
• Builds, obtains agreement and executes project work plan and collaboratively adjusts where necessary ensuring adherence to established project change management process
• Assists with review of project financials; owns data quality and accuracy in financial reporting
• Control and review all travel requirements and expenses for consultants, ensuring alignment to project budgets
• Accurately assist with forecasting and manages assigned budget along with weekly/monthly financial reporting for projects, incorporating issues/risks
• Provides project financial, status and risk/issue reporting.
• Document and apply lessons learned upon fulfillment of project acceptance
• This position does not have direct reports.

Job Requirements

• Ability to manage small to large-scale projects through all phases of the project life cycle
• Proven business acumen; strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Proven ability to be productive in high stress situations.
• Fluent in English, Preferred Cantonese and mandarin (written & verbal – both) communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in POS / Hospitality solution implementation (Preferred)
• 4+ years in customer facing experience.
• 4+ years in Project Management experience
