- Onsite Training provided at our North Sydney Office for first 6 weeks
- Once trained and competent in role, work from home 4 days per week
- You will be rostered when our contact centre is open for 7.5 hours per day, shifts will vary
- Shifts are provided 3 weeks in advance
- Our Contact Centre is open between 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am – 5pm on Saturday
- You will be required to work a Saturday shift once per month, however, if you work this shift, you will receive a substitute day off within that week
- Providing accurate information efficiently and in relation to home and motor general insurance products
- Establishing new policies within agreed delegated levels of authority
- Updating and providing accurate information on existing policies
- Retention of existing policies for Customers looking to cancel
- Achieve set business key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Maintain accurate customer and policy records on General Insurance systems via quality data processing
- Objection handling and problem-solving Customer concerns and queries
- Previous experience in any retail, hospitality or contact centre customer service position
- Strong focus on delivery of superior customer service
- Proven capability to interact over the telephone in a clear and professional manner
- Intermediate computer skills required

About the Role
Our Inbound Sales and Service Consultants are responsible for answering inbound service and sales calls from a variety of customers and providing them with prompt, efficient, professional service regarding their insurance needs.
