Job Description:
As part of our expansion, we are looking for a full-time, reliable, dedicated, and remote IT Head of Business Development. You will be part of an ethical organization with a start-up mentality that values you and only focuses on halal earnings. Thus, your job will be diverse but focus on creating value for the organization and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development
- Create and implement strategies to grow the IT business through both direct client acquisition and channel partnerships.
- Align channel and direct business strategies to achieve organizational goals.
2. Market Research and Analysis
- Identify new markets, emerging technologies, and potential channel opportunities.
- Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to stay competitive.
3. Channel Partner Recruitment and Management
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners (resellers, distributors, integrators).
- Maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as the primary point of contact.
4. Direct Sales and Lead Generation
- Generate leads and build relationships with potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations tailored to client or partner needs.
5. Sales Enablement and Training
- Equip channel partners with the tools, training, and resources they need to succeed.
- Conduct product and service training sessions for partners and clients.
6. Performance Monitoring
- Track sales performance through both direct sales and channel partners.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
7. Marketing and Promotions
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns that support direct and channel sales.
- Develop co-marketing initiatives with channel partners to increase visibility and revenue.
8. Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities in both direct and channel sales streams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
9. Relationship Management
- Foster long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
- Resolve conflicts between partners or between clients and the company.
10. Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align efforts.
- Communicate client and partner feedback to influence product development and improvement.
11. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and industry standards.
- Mitigate risks associated with channel conflicts or client dissatisfaction.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of the IT industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing client and partner relationships.
- Sales and marketing expertise, with experience in B2B environments.
- Analytical skills to assess market trends, performance metrics, and competitive landscapes.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Technical understanding of IT solutions to communicate value propositions clearly.
Work environment:
• Full-time remote job
• 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday)
