Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our Embedded Software Services sales efforts in the Hyderabad region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new customers, new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and managing the sales process from start to finish. This role requires a deep understanding of embedded software services and a proven track record in sales within the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
· Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets in the embedded software services sector.
· Identify and pursue new customers & business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
· Lead the sales process, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
· Work closely with the engineering and recruitment teams to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and met.
Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Regularly update clients on new services and solutions, ensuring their needs are met with innovative embedded software offerings.
Market Research & Analysis:
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the embedded software domain.
· Analyse market data to identify potential areas for growth and opportunities to expand service offerings.
· Provide insights to the technical team to help shape future service offerings.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
· Experience:
o 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years focused on selling embedded software services.
o Prior experience of opening GCCs (with HQ in US or Europe) for embedded software services.
o Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
o Experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating high-value contracts.
· Skills:
o Strong understanding of embedded systems, software development lifecycle, and related technologies.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
o Self-motivated, with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
