Inside Sales Head | Weekday (YC W21) | India
This role is for one of the Weekday’s clientsWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Inside Sales Head to lead and drive our inside sales team to achieve and exceed business goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2C sales, B2C marketing, inside sales, and pre-sales functions, with 8–12 years of experience in similar roles. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for devising innovative sales strategies, building a high-performing team, and ensuring the consistent growth of the organization’s customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement an effective B2C sales strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Monitor sales KPIs, analyze performance trends, and ensure continuous improvement across all sales processes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies, and brand objectives.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing inside sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s expertise in customer engagement, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Define clear roles, set achievable goals, and ensure the team’s alignment with organizational objectives.
- Inside Sales and Pre-sales Management:
- Oversee the inside sales operations, ensuring prompt and effective customer engagement and lead nurturing.
- Develop robust pre-sales processes to qualify leads, identify customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.
- Work closely with the product and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and a superior customer experience.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering value-driven solutions.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously refine the sales approach and service delivery.
- Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Leverage insights to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.

- B2C Sales Expertise: Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a B2C environment, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior.
- B2C Marketing Knowledge: Strong collaboration skills to align marketing and sales efforts, ensuring maximum lead conversion.
- Inside Sales Acumen: Hands-on experience in managing inside sales teams and leveraging technology to drive efficiency.
- Pre-sales Proficiency: Expertise in creating and managing pre-sales frameworks to effectively qualify and close deals.
- Leadership and Team Management: Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance optimization.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Data-driven approach to decision-making with the ability to devise innovative sales strategies.

Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in B2C sales, inside sales, and pre-sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and digital marketing integration.
