What does an Integrated Operations Leader do at Corteva?
This position will lead the Integrated Operations team, ensuring effective achievement of performance requirements & improvement initiatives relating to production & supply, EH&S, quality, etc. utilising both internal and 3rd party production and warehouse/logistics suppliers.
Effective leadership of internal production & warehouse operations, and the ability to effectively manage and enhance relationships with 3rd party production and warehouse/logistics suppliers, collaboration with the procurement team for more efficient and cost-competitive raw materials and packaging, and leading improvement projects that require significant cross-functional collaboration and resource leveraging, will all be critical to successfully fulfilling the requirements of this exciting role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the AU Biologicals IO team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Relationship Management & Collaboration: Manage and strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. commercial, finance, procurement, other functional support resources) and external stakeholders (i.e. 3rd party production and warehouse/logistics suppliers, etc) – to ensure efficient, effective, & cost-competitive production & supply.
- Improvement Projects: Lead and execute improvement projects for AU Biologicals IO that requires significant cross-functional collaboration and effective resource utilization – to achieve more efficient, effective, & cost-competitive production & supply.
- Performance Enhancement: Drive initiatives to improve the performance of the AU Biologicals IO team on key deliverables such as safe, reliable, and cost-competitive production and supply.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to support the Australia Plant Performance business and enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to align operations with business goals and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and report on progress to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management, with previous for experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or food & beverage industries
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent relationship management skills and experience collaborating with external partners.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive significant operational improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and cost competitiveness in production and supply operations.
