The IT Manufacturing Execution Systems Manager manage the specialist IT MES team involved in the management of deployment of our Medtronic’s next generation of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) from the software company Critical Manufacturing. This role will also be key member of our Global Manufacturing Digital Transformation leadership team. This Role is Remote based in Colombia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinating and driving effective collaboration with key stakeholders in GTS-related activities such as Geography Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Customer Care, and Commercial
• Support activities related to enterprise-wide regulatory management systems, including systems coordination, training others, developing and implementing plans, and providing input to systems designs
• Ensure continuous efficiency and effective process improvement measurements are conducted through, not limited to, Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) and internal audit support. to evaluate external vendors
• Lead or act as SME in Global transformational projects related to Product Distribution Control, represent organization during GTS CAB (planning, delegation, follow up, control, tasks assignment, address/remove barriers, etc.)
• Actively work on automating the regulatory information related to all affairs processes. Makes improvements to processes, systems or products to enhance the performance of the job area
• Contributes to the completion of work group objectives, through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments
• Exchange information of facts, statuses, ideas and issues to achieve objective, and influence decision-making. Influence and inspire alignment with business goals, internally and externally
• Proactively pursues opportunities that require cross-functional and management support to address or prevent complex problems

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in English
• Three years of experience in manufacturing systems management and hands on implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) into manufacturing environments
• Expertise in supporting MES platforms (Critical Manufacturing, SAP ME, Siemens Op-Centre, Rockwell FactoryTalk or related)
• Experience integrating an MES with other business systems (e.g., ERP, SCADA, PLCs), enabling seamless data flow and process automation across departments
• Proficient in managing MES-related databases (SQL, Oracle), ensuring data integrity, performance, and efficient retrieval of production data
