Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to lead and oversee various technology projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to analyze complex problems, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Communication – written and verbal – summarizing succinctly a large amount of information and data
• Agile – work leading teams – collaborate with other Product Managers to develop this team as they are immature in their agile experience
• Ideally an understanding of Salesforce platform and/or business process lead to order for selling
• Technical comfort – history with application development teams, requirements/user stories, SDLC
• Project Management – skills with timelines, dependencies, resourcing, risk management (comfort with escalation)
• End-to-end sales processes
• Lead the planning and execution of IT projects from inception to completion.
• Analyze project requirements and develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Utilize project management tools such as Jira and SharePoint to track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by providing clear direction and support to team members.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate metrics and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project status, address concerns, and gather feedback.
• Ensure adherence to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation related to project development, including reports and presentations for senior management.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role within the technology sector.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in using tools such as Jira for task management and SharePoint for document collaboration.
• Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with SQL is a plus for understanding database-related projects.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
