It Sales Specialist | UMENIT | India
UMENIT is a cutting-edge provider of IT solutions, offering web and mobile app development, DevOps services, and other advanced IT products. We are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic IT Sales Specialist with proven expertise in selling IT services through Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Management:
- Proactively identify and engage with potential clients on Upwork and other platforms.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of clients looking for IT services (e.g., software development, app development, DevOps, cloud solutions).
- Communicate effectively with potential clients to understand their business needs and propose tailored IT solutions.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the bidding process on Upwork by crafting compelling proposals and setting competitive pricing strategies.
- Manage end-to-end sales processes, from generating leads to closing deals and managing contracts.
- Ensure consistent follow-up and engagement with clients to foster long-term relationships.
- Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Research market trends, competition, and client needs to identify sales opportunities.
- Continuously seek new avenues to increase Upwork sales and explore new platforms for potential client acquisition.
- Performance Reporting:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales processes and results.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in IT sales, with a proven track record on Upwork (or other freelancing platforms).
- Experience in selling IT services (software development, web/mobile app development, DevOps, etc.) is a must.
- Skills:
- Expertise in bidding on Upwork and winning IT-related projects.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and propose solutions that meet client needs.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory based on experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other freelancing platforms like Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.
- Experience working with international clients across various industries.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
