About the role:
The Iteration Lead focuses on orchestrating efficient software delivery by leading agile practices and facilitating high-performing cross-functional teams. The role manages the end-to-end delivery cycle while ensuring effective stakeholder communication and expectation management.
We are looking for a flexible and resilient individual who can adapt to dynamic environments and leverage their experience with agile methodologies to foster successful delivery outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivery
- Managing the delivery of work through the delivery cycle
- Removing impediments and blockers for the delivery team
- Tracking sprint progress, team velocity and release burn-down
- Stakeholder Management
- Managing and coordinating cross-team dependencies
- Managing expectations on timelines and deliverables
- Improvement
- Continuously improving agile practices
- Identifying opportunities for efficiency gains
- Team Development
- Fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Optimising team performance
Successful candidates will have:
- 5-10 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Iteration Manager;
- Certified Scrum Master, CSPO, or equivalent agile certification;
- Deep practical experience with agile development methodologies;
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships;
- Proficiency in collaboration and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro etc.);
- Knowledge of various agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe);
- Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline;
- Adaptability and resilience in complex and changing environments.
