We’re seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Mexico or Argentina. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Java Coding and Testing:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java.
• Utilize frameworks and libraries such as TestNG to optimize test effectiveness.

Database Management:

• Proficiently validate data storage and retrieval processes using RDBMS and SQL.

REST Services Automation:

• Automate REST service testing to ensure robust API performance and functionality.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to validate API endpoints and services.

Testing Documentation:

• Create detailed test plans and test case documents based on functionality and product requirements.
• Document test results and track defects, providing clear and detailed reports to stakeholders.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, representing Quality Engineering (QE) tasks and deliverables effectively.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing to discussions on testing strategies and improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming with hands-on experience in test automation.
• Experience with frameworks and libraries such as TestNG.
• Proficiency in RDBMS and SQL.
• Expertise in automating REST services.
• Knowledge of Big-O notation to evaluate and optimize code performance.
• Proven ability to create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working within cross-functional teams.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is an experienced SDET with a strong focus on Java development and automation testing. They possess in-depth knowledge of data validation, database testing, and API automation, alongside a good understanding of Big-O notation.
