Role Overview:

As a JavaScript Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex, scalable, and performant web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions. We are looking for someone who is not just proficient in JavaScript, but also has a deep understanding of modern development tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and popular frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver seamless and high-performing user experiences.
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and efficiency.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to create feature-rich applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in JavaScript, web development, and the broader technology landscape.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards and promoting best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across different platforms and devices.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and best practices.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps, etc.).

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and back-end JavaScript development.
• Strong knowledge of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM, Yarn) and version control (Git).
• Experience in API integration (RESTful services, GraphQL).
• Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of authentication and security (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with unit testing (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine) and test-driven development (TDD).
• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript and its integration into JavaScript applications.
• Familiarity with mobile-first development and building mobile applications (React Native, etc.).
• Understanding of microservices and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Prior experience working with GraphQL, Redux, or state management tools.
• Familiarity with performance profiling tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools).
