Your Role:

We are looking for a Full Stack Junior Software Developer with excellent logic, communication and troubleshooting skills. Your role is to build and implement features that revolutionize the way companies run their business in the Tourism Industry.

At Zaui, you will be a team player working with other Developers and our Support Team throughout the software development life cycle if you are a self-starter looking to leverage your experience with front end technologies such as Vue/vanilla javascript/HTML/CSS and back end technologies including PHP/Laravel and MySQL we would like to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your Vue skills to create well thought out, reusable components
• Use SASS inside of Vue to create picture perfect designs based on Figma renderings
• Use ES6/modern JS to manipulate data inside Vue components / state management libraries
• Update API’s using PHP/Laravel whenever needed.
• Implement new features in our PHP backend in a format that allows for reusability and testing
• Add unit tests for any new code added
• Logically tackle bugs as they come in to see where in the codebase the issue lies.
• Consistently collaborate with team members to improve the software on a daily basis.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Software Development experience
• Professional experience with Vue including VueX/Pinia, Vue Router preferably within a SaaS product.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Solid understanding of PHP frameworks (such as Laravel for PHP).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and best practices
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Agile development experience using JIRA is an asset
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Drive to take initiative to learn and improve knowledge
• Ability to work in a team
• Exemplary written and verbal English skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant fields
