Job Description
As a new junior Account manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting and developing our strong footing in the Financial Services sector, managing existing client engagements, maintaining client relationships, and managing new sales opportunities, among other responsibilities.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in account management and Business Development, with mentorship and growth potential.
The role will be part of a successful, growing team focused on enterprise opportunities. The team is made up of a number of account managers and salespeople, who lead multiple engagements across large enterprise accounts and generate new business opportunities within the Financial Services sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of acquired customer accounts and contracts
- Involved in – client engagement, commercials, contracting, delivery practice engagement, and project mobilisation.
- You will be liaising with Delivery teams to identify and secure resources for sales opportunities.
- Respond to detailed Customer Requirements documents
- Preparation and delivery of Prospect and Client presentations of Version 1 propositions to customers
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling software services and solutions within established accounts.
Qualifications
- 1 – 2 years experience working in customer service or account management delivering IT Services into the Financial Services sector.
- Some knowledge of the Financial Services Sector buying cycles and procurement processes
- Strong written skills in order to complete internal documentation to a high standard – you must have excellent Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills. You’ll be highly attentive to detail and have the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels across an organisation internally and externally
- Good commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics.
- Customer focused mindset with enthusiasm to learn and grow into the Financial Services sector.
