Our team is growing, and we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Conveyancer to join us in supporting the smooth and timely completion of property settlements.
Role Overview:
As a Junior Conveyancer, you will play a key role in assisting with the administrative processes of property settlements and conveyancing. Under the guidance of our experienced team, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while supporting clients through every stage of the property transaction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of documents, including contracts of sale, transfer documents, and settlement statements.
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, banks, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of transactions.
- Manage settlement coordination, ensuring all conditions are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Assist in the lodgement of documents with relevant authorities.
- Provide ongoing updates to clients regarding the status of their transactions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records using conveyancing software and other tools.
- Ensure compliance with relevant property laws and regulations.
- Support senior conveyancers with various administrative tasks as needed.
About You:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and external parties.
- Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A keen interest in property and conveyancing.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn conveyancing software.
- Basic knowledge of conveyancing or previous experience in a similar roleÂ
Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification such as a Diploma of Conveyancing (or working towards this) is preferred but not essential.
- Previous administrative/accounts or customer service experience is an advantage.
