Job Description
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of enhancing and developing property and customer management applications, leveraging tools like NodeJS, ANSI SQL, AWS, and third-party integrations. This role emphasizes independence, with a focus on managing bug fixes, small-scale projects, and seamless application configurations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as you’ll navigate tasks like codebase contributions, Git Pull Request management, and adhering to standard operating procedures. Collaboration is key—you’ll know when to take initiative and when to seek guidance—making this position an exciting opportunity to refine your expertise and drive meaningful innovation in the hospitality industry.

The Qualifications We Seek
- Intermediate proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with source control tools like GitHub.
- Basic understanding of web services and SQL with general knowledge of database design.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, Power BI, Power Automate, or Make.com (aka Integromat)
- Basic web design (CSS/HTML) skills.
Your Daily Tasks
- Contribute to and enhance existing codebases.
- Manage changes effectively using Git Pull Requests.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and refine processes.
- Collaborate on bug fixes and tackle small task-oriented projects.
- Seek guidance proactively while displaying independence.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
