Job Overview: The Key Account Director (KAD) at Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts” India Global Sales Office will be responsible for developing and managing global sales activities across all properties within assigned segments. The primary focus will be on the Key Client Program and maintaining the sales platform to achieve agreed contribution goals. The KAD will serve as the main liaison for these clients on behalf of the hotels and will be recognized as an expert in market and customer trends within this segment. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Returns: Implement tailored solutions to drive brand share growth for Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts. Increase revenue from managed accounts and expand the accounts portfolio. Manage and develop client accounts to maximize market share and revenue. Negotiate and complete RFPs and tenders in accordance with company policies. Develop long-term strategic plans to grow revenue by maximizing managed accounts and forming global. preferred agreements and partnerships. Utilize global market intelligence to identify and qualify new business leads. Regularly leverage insights to understand the impact of global economic factors on revenue delivery. Effectively utilize sales processes and systems. Apply pricing strategies to drive superior revenue delivery. Utilize sales management and reporting systems efficiently. Actively participate in training sessions and complete all required coursework. Attend meetings and perform additional duties as required. Qualifications and Requirements: Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Business or Hospitality Management. At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a multi-unit capacity. Experience with international and regional clients and promoting multi-hotel brands and destinations. Requirements: Knowledge of both local and global corporate markets, with a particular focus on the India outbound market towards Indian Ocean destinations. In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques. Strong client management, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Assist in planning and delivering India Showcase events in major cities. Extensive knowledge of company products and marketing programs. Strong networking skills with internal and external business partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to develop strong relationships with senior management of customers. Flexible working approach. Confidence in representing multiple properties and countries while working remotely. Understanding of international and regional market trends and customer needs. Competence in resource allocation, expense control, and budget management. Ability to set goals, performance targets, and ensure timely project delivery. Strong report writing and presentation skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of both local and global markets. Strong financial, numerical, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
