- Bachelor or Master in Engineering Degree, combined with further sales & marketing studies;
- Proven track record (> 10 years) sales or business development in a complex technical B2B environment, preferably related to the Semiconductor and / or Opto-Electronics industries.
- Familiarity with key semiconductor manufacturers, wafer houses and / or solar industry will be an advantage.
- Exceptional relationship building skills and stakeholder management.
- Ambition and ability to grow long-term within our business
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills from a strategic perspective.
- Result driven, can-do attitude and reliable.
- Strong verbal and written command English; other languages are always welcome;
- Ability to travel > 50% of time.

What are your main responsibilities?
As part of the Global Sales team, you create a strategic plan of action to develop business within the worldwide market to grow and develop existing accounts. In this challenging role you also explore the market for new business and introduce new services / products. You are based in Germany, mainly working from home and support our worldwide customers.
Your responsibilities lie on the sales results, the account/market development and the overall sales process. From a firm understanding of our company engineering, manufacturing and logistical capabilities, as a strategic partner of the customer, you build and maintain a relation to customized solutions, reducing their cost of ownership.
For your key accounts you manage a multidisciplinary team and you coordinate direct customer interaction of your team members and other stakeholders. Thanks to your in-depth understanding of applications you are experienced as a champion for the customer within Schunk Xycarb Technology while balancing the interest of both parties. Within this role, you report directly to the Director of Sales Europe of Schunk Xycarb Technologies.
