The opportunity
Based in southeast Melbourne, Prime Animal Health have an exciting opportunity for the right person to make a significant impact in our growing business.  Working alongside the National Sales Manager, this career opportunity will specialise in Prime’s Ruminants Range. This role will be responsible for developing and building strong customer relationships and driving Prime’s expanding product range across Victoria and South Australia.Â
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a clear business plan to drive continuous salesÂ
- Seek and develop new customers and build strong customer relationships
- Provide expert product and technical advice to customers to support their animal health needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, technical and operations teams to enhance customer experiences
- Engage and collaborate with management to facilitate the growth of the company
- Maintain strong risk management including but not limited to financial, occupational health and safety, quality assurance.

What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of success in a key account management or senior sales role within the animal health or agricultural sectors
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as agriculture, animal science or veterinary science is highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of agricultural and animal health productsÂ
- Exceptional customer focus with exceptional relationship management
- Excellent time management, organizational skills and ability to problem solve
- Ability to function with autonomy with support of a broader team
- Travel across South Australia and Victoria
- Proven sales and marketing ability, integrity, and high-level interpersonal skills.
