Role & responsibilities
[12:51 pm, 23/10/2024] Romika: Business Development • Execute the new market development initiatives & meet the planned annual business target
- Search through various mediums to prospect new clients/ industries (industry event / exhibition participation / online search through the internet / referrals / internal data base); prepare strategies to enhance customers pool to increase overall business revenues and introduction of new product lines/ new technologies. Also, ensure exclusive coverage of identified accounts/ segments for business development initiatives
- Identify new business avenues and prospective customers across India to generate new business for Veritech
- Collect customer’s RFQ and conduct techno commercial analysis and ensure customer requirement are met
- Deliver presentation on business cases to prospective customers and convert to business orders
- Monitor customers and new market launches in applicable industries, prepare business presentation, follow up with customer and present company business cases to acquire new business
- Share new launches, product line and market trends with NPD, Quality, Design & Marketing teams to build organization capability and stay competitive in the marketplace
- In coordination with Quality, Production, Design and Marketing Departments, prepare product samples/ demonstration & organize for trials by prospects & submit feedback to the concerned dept(s) for further action
Documentation, Reports & Reviews • Responsible for management reporting pertaining to New Business Development
- Prepare periodic reports internal review meeting
- Responsible for reporting a consolidated view and qualitative MIS for all aspects of New Business Development
- Coordinating relevant documentation with the respective departments (price & quotes, sampling, trial reports, order processing, timely execution of orders, payment etc collection) to ensure best of service
- In coordination with Head Sales, prepare required presentation/ business cases as desired by existing and prospective customers to ensure new business conversion / enhanced uptake of orders from existing customers
After Market services • Maintain real time relationship with leaders of prospective & existing clients to ensure retention of visibility of brand Veritech / delivery on benchmarked services (prompt query resolution/ product quality satisfaction/ retention)
