Job Description:

As a Laravel Developer, you will work with a highly skilled team of developers to create and maintain high-quality web applications. You will play a key role in building and enhancing both front-end and back-end components of our projects, ensuring that all systems run smoothly and are scalable. The role requires excellent knowledge of the Laravel framework, PHP, and web technologies. This is a remote position, and you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that meets the project’s requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug issues across the application.
• Ensure application security by implementing best practices in terms of coding standards and data protection.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Stay updated with new Laravel releases and web development trends.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with the user interface.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and continuous learning.
• Contribute to team meetings, providing updates and offering suggestions for improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of professional experience in Laravel and PHP web development.
• Strong experience with Laravel (5.x or 8.x) and its ecosystem (Eloquent, Blade, Artisan, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for integrating front-end and back-end components.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with unit testing and writing automated tests (e.g., PHPUnit).
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, efficient code.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Vue.js or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Laravel-based CMS systems (e.g., OctoberCMS).
