Role overview

We are looking for a Lead DevOps engineer to join our dynamic team! The Lead will have experience with Azure DevOps Azure CI/CD Pipelines and GitHub to migrate code repositories from Azure DevOps to GitHub.

What you’ll do

• Create GITHUB Repositories, GITHUB teams, Branches, add members and additional GITHUB administrations tasks.
• Migrate code from TFS based repositories into GitHub repositories
• Analyze TFS based builds and rewrite them into Azure DevOps based pipelines
• Create Azure DevOps(ADO) projects, teams and additional administrative tasks in ADO
• Create new ADO based pipelines for various technologies including .NET framework, Java, Javascript
• Troubleshoot compilation issues with .net, java, JavaScript applications and clearly articulate the problem when application teams are to be involved.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment issues in ADO Pipelines, help developers with GitHub check-in/check-out issues.
• Ability to write python/bash/PowerShell scripting to automate repeatable manual task
• Participate in training the application teams about using GitHub, Azure DevOps etc.

What you bring to the role

• Experience with GitHub repositories, branching, merging, enabling, configuring GitHub Advanced Security, Create CI/CD with GitHub Actions
• Experience with TFS Repositories and Builds
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines – Create complex pipelines, setting up release pipelines, artifact stores.
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines for .NET, VB.NET, Java, Javascript languages.
• Any scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python etc.
