Job Title: Lead Engineer Proxy Product Owner – Cloud Network & Security Solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer Proxy Product Owner to spearhead a squad responsible for designing, delivering and operating cloud network and security solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs, translating them into scalable cloud network architectures, and driving automated, secure deployments in line with our technical blueprint by driving a team of Architects and Engineers. You will work closely with network architects and engineers to challenge and guide them in delivering cutting-edge cloud security and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a squad focused on cloud network and security solutions, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into practical, secure, and automated cloud solutions.
• Challenge network architects and engineers to ensure solutions are optimal and in line with the company’s cloud blueprint and standards.
• Implement cloud network landing zones with edge security features like firewalls, DNS, reverse proxies, and load balancers in front of hosting VPCs.
• Ensure the cloud blueprint is followed, leveraging NetBox for parameter storage and deploying to AWS, Azure, and GCP using Ansible or Terraform.
• Oversee automation and orchestration of cloud deployments through continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing GitHub for version control and code review during the merge request process.
• Collaborate with technical review teams to ensure high-quality code releases and adherence to best practices.
• Continuously enhance and optimize cloud network infrastructure, incorporating feedback and new technologies as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest cloud networking and security trends to drive innovation and improvements in the squad’s solutions.

Profile:

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in cloud networking and security, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures, including landing zones, VPC networking, routing/peering, and edge security components like firewalls, DNS, reverse proxies, and load balancers.
• Proficiency with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform, and experience with GitHub for code management.
• Experience working with parameter storage systems (e.g., NetBox) and integrating them with cloud APIs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and inspire a technical team.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and code review practices.
• Experience working in an agile environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
