Lead Java Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team and lead the development of innovative solutions using Java, Apache Kafka, and Microservice Architecture Pattern in collaboration with Microsoft Azure and other cutting-edge technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, leveraging your expertise to drive the development of scalable, high-performance applications. As a Lead Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing robust solutions, utilizing your strong technical skills to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java 8
• Implement robust e-commerce order fulfillment systems
• Optimize PostgreSQL database performance for high-volume order processing
• Implement efficient caching strategies using Redis
• Develop event-driven systems using Kafka for order status updates
• Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Advanced proficiency in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Experience with Apache Kafka for distributed event streaming
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and indexing
• Experience with Redis for caching and session management
• Ability to design efficient database schemas for e-commerce applications
• Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and serverless architecture
• Deep understanding of e-commerce order processing workflows
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
