With offices and a distributed workforce throughout the UK and US, our team is an energizing mix of scientific strategists, medical writers, client services professionals, creatives, and experienced designers and strategists. In this role, you will work closely with our Experience Design, Product, and Engineering teams to craft solutions aligning with user needs, business goals and tech stack. You will also play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and user interface design of our products. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital solutions. This role reports into the Director, Experience Design.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs, behaviours, and preferences, using findings to inform design decisions.

Develop and refine user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for our products and features.

Provide design expertise at a pixel level and at scale

Collaborate closely with our product manager and users to define requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions.

Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.

Iterate on designs based on user feedback, market trends and metrics & analytics

Contribute to our design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.

Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5-7 years of UX/product design experience in agile cross-functional teams

Able to set the pace and standards for design outcomes and outputs

Excellent communicator, able to bring stakeholders and peers along with you, and can demonstrate the impact of your work and decisions

You are able to consider the technical implications of design decisions and have the ability to find the right balance between new user value and technical effort

Experience creating end-to-end flows, prototypes and hi-fi designs

You have a bachelor’s degree in a related design field or equivalent experience

Familiarity with accessibility standards (such as WCAG, ADA, GDPR)

A deep understanding of user-centric design principles and methodologies

Proficiency with modern design systems, prototyping software and design tools (we use Figma)

Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development

Nice-To-Have

Experience in B2B/SaaS/Enterprise products

Experience in the Atlassian suite of software (Jira & Confluence)

Experience designing MVP’s
