Overview

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Program Management + Managing Project Complexity:

• Facilitate discussions with architects, developers, and landlords ensuring internal/external cross-functional teams have common understanding of the site conditions and design options created.
• Maintain a log of each open store’s architectural, fixture, display, and merchandising elements for use in determining the range of potential remodel scopes of work.
• Determine and coordinate the capture of inputs needed to accurately assess sites in a timely manner.

Review, Design & Align

• Design options that meet or improve upon the site budget and return on investment thresholds, and prepare the corresponding presentations for review, alignment, and approval.
• Incorporate unique site characteristics into the store design that result in an enhanced environment at favorable cost impacts.
• Utilize extensive experience in developing and presenting innovative design solutions to anomaly site and store spaces.
• Partner with Real Estate, PAR, Space Planning, and Visual Merchandising teams to design store environments that maximize the site footprint and align the space with the market-specific athlete makeup.
• Effectively utilize store design guidelines and standards for exterior and interior development and influence in their evolution.
• Assist in maintaining an up-to-date Remodel scope prioritization matrix and corresponding cost estimates.
• Perform site visits of potential high-anomaly New (and Renew/Remodel) store projects (PreCon) with internal and external stakeholders ascertaining the condition of the sites and incorporating those insights into store plans and scopes-of-work.
• Build and maintain an archive of studies created for each project, which may include scope notes, shell plans, overlays, LOD level drawings, feasibility studies, exterior elevations, and preliminary plans.

Team/Peer Development And Training

• Mentors, reviews, and supports team members in the comprehensive creation, design, and development of studies of varying degrees of detail and due diligence.
• Assists the Director Store Design & Planning in ensures consistency in design approach and documentation across the team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree 4-year degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 7-10 years experience
• Strong background with a national retail chain, architectural firm and/or interior design firm. Must have a general knowledge of construction methods.
• Architecture or Interior Design License strongly preferred
• Knowledge of database and project management software
• AutoCAD and Revit

Targeted Pay Range: $83,000.00 – $138,200.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
