Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer with over 4 years of hands-on experience in Web & API automation, mobile and performance testing, and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation frameworks, mobile testing tools, and agile methodologies, with a focus on ensuring the highest quality in software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Web & API Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
- API testing using RestAssured, including test case design and execution.
Mobile & Performance Testing:
- Conduct mobile application testing using Appium and performance testing as needed.
- Implement best practices in test design using frameworks like POM (Page Object Model), BDD (Behaviour Driven Development), and Robot Framework.
Manual Testing:
- Perform comprehensive manual testing to identify and address defects in both web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Project & Defect Management:
- Manage project timelines and defect reporting using project management and bug tracking tools.
- Provide detailed test reports and ensure all defects are tracked, prioritised, and resolved.
Requirements:
- Proficient in utilizing modern JavaScript-based testing frameworks, particularly Cypress and Playwright, to develop robust automated test scripts and frameworks for validating software product functionality, reliability, performance, and quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software product functionality, reliability, performance, and quality.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate automated tests with the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution, collaborating with software developers to ensure defects are understood and addressed.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and procedures, including test plan development and code reviews.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Evaluate product code according to specifications.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Help troubleshoot issues and work with the team to identify solutions.
