What You’ll Do:

• Define and execute Groov’s technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability needs.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Groov’s embedded finance platform, from initial concept through design, implementation, and deployment.
• Cultivate deep customer and partner relationships, providing technical guidance and aligning solutions to their needs.
• Act as a custodian of Groov’s architecture, ensuring it supports high-performance, secure, and resilient systems.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including coding standards, quality assurance, and CI/CD processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and effective delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, driving continuous improvement in our product offerings.
• Act as a key interface between sales, customer success, and product teams to translate customer feedback into actionable technical features..
• Build partnerships with strategic and technology partners to enhance Groov’s offerings and ecosystem.
• Drive innovation through technical experimentation, adopting best-in-class tools and methods to keep Groov at the forefront of fintech.

What You’ll Bring:

• Expertise in product engineering: You have deep knowledge in software engineering, with a proven track record of developing and scaling complex systems, especially in cloud technologies and SaaS environments.
• Leadership and communication skills: You excel at managing diverse teams, mentoring engineers, and fostering collaboration across multiple functions. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is key.
• Fintech and SaaS experience: You have extensive experience within the fintech sector, especially in product architecture, solution delivery, and scaling technology/engineering operations to meet market demands.
• Technical proficiency: You’re proficient in API design (REST, OpenAPI), distributed systems, Java spring frameworks and modern toolkits (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies as needed.
• Problem-solving mindset: You thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments and can quickly assess and resolve complex issues. Your focus is on building solutions that are both efficient and customer-centric.
• Cultural agility: You have experience working across global teams and are skilled in navigating different cultural dynamics to foster collaboration and ensure successful product delivery.
