What does teaching look like?
You will be the owner of the day – explaining the key concepts through the content provided by Le Wagon and also leading the team of Teaching Assistants supporting you throughout the day.
Together You Will Lead a Group Of Students Of Varying Skill Levels, Which Requires Excellent Communication Skills And Empathy. Although The Exact Daily Flow And Tasks May Vary, these Are The Tasks You Will Be Responsible For During a Typical Day:
- Prepare thoroughly for the teaching day with the help of our slides, videos, and challenges
- Deliver the morning lecture based on the content provided by Le Wagon
- Ensure a great learning atmosphere while coaching and checking in on students
- Manage and support the teaching team during the day
- Run engaging live coding sessions at the end of the day
- Report to and liaise with Le Wagon Staff whenever needed

About You
We’re always looking for tech professionals who want to share their real-world experience with our Bootcamp students. We provide teacher training & support to help you deliver an amazing learning experience for our students.
What We Look For In Teachers Is enthusiasm, Patience, Passion For The Subject, And a Real Desire To Impart Knowledge And Skills To Others. As Such:
- You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in your field of work
- You have teaching and 1:1 mentoring or pair programming experience
- You are used to breaking down complex concepts with people who are new to technology
- You are empathetic and love to help others reach their objectives
- You are a clear and confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- You have a product mindset and get excited about solving real-world problems
