We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting a Lead, Workforce Planning.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
You will engage and inspire a high-performing team of HR professionals, providing mentorship and support to foster their growth and development. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide expert advice and recommendations on workforce planning initiatives and predictive analytics, ensuring a consistent approach across various contracts and centres.
In your new role, you will:
- Develop and implement a workforce planning framework tailored to a complex environment, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Create workforce strategies that identify current and future roles and skills needed to deliver services effectively under existing contracts and for new service opportunities.
- Provide insights on the requirements of a workforce planning tool, supporting its development and implementation.
- Manage resource allocation for Rosters Coordinators to meet targets and service levels through effective planning and rostering.
- Identify and address resourcing issues and gaps, incorporating operational and strategic initiatives for ongoing improvements.
- Monitor attendance and scheduling of training to maintain required service levels while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement of rostering processes through data analysis and reporting to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Conduct targeted analyses of service provisions and performance, linking recommendations for process improvements to optimised scheduling and staff engagement.
- Maintain current knowledge of workforce planning developments and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
- Translate complex workforce data into actionable insights tailored for senior management, communicating findings on a periodic basis.
- Utilise analytical tools to develop and report on enterprise-wide people and cross-functional data.
- Ensure quality assurance of key HR data sets, plans, reports, and metrics while facilitating team members’ professional development and succession planning.
ABOUT YOU
You are a strategic leader with a strong background in workforce planning and reporting, equipped with the ability to engage and develop high-performing teams. Your expertise in data management, technology architecture, and project management empowers you to drive effective solutions that align with business objectives.
To be successful, you will:
- Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry.
- Pass any required health assessments.
- Work within correctional or regional processing centres as needed.
- Travel both interstate and overseas to meet business demands.
- Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.
- Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.
