Job Overview
In the role of Sales and Business Development Leader, you will be the catalyst for our sales endeavors and business growth. This diverse position necessitates a combination of direct sales expertise, sales management, operational insight, and leadership skills. You will work closely with the executive team to formulate our sales strategy, cultivate a high-performing sales team, and nurture robust relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the charge in acquiring new business, effectively managing inbound leads, and overseeing the entire sales pipeline.
- Engage with prospective clients throughout the sales process, from initial outreach to contract execution, payment processing, and a seamless transition to fulfillment and customer support.
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities, working towards achieving business development objectives alongside direct sales and revenue goals.
- Uncover and capitalize on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within our existing client portfolio.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine sales materials, including pitch decks and brochures.
- Enhance the lead and pre-sales experience while maximizing data capture throughout the sales process.
- Lead the administration and configuration of HubSpot and other internal sales systems; experience with HubSpot email campaigns is a plus.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience in sales and business development, preferably in the agency or SaaS sector.
- Proven track record in closing sales, leading effective sales teams, and achieving revenue objectives.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, and a solid understanding of sales operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for fostering strong client and partner relationships.
- Strategic mindset capable of identifying new opportunities to drive business growth.
- Experience in partnership development and a solid network in the digital marketing or technology landscape is a significant advantage.
- A strong network in targeted industries, especially among attorneys or dentists, will be considered a valuable asset.
