We are looking for a Learning & Development Consultant to join our team. Your specialism will be protection, initially providing support to our existing and newly appointed protection experts, this will also overlap into mortgage experts, case managers and mortgage administrators.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive training for new and existing mortgage and protection experts, case managers and mortgage administrators.
  • Ensure positive onboarding experience and adherence to company values.
  • Provide training on internal systems and uniform processes.
  • Monitor day-to-day activities and support in maintaining CPD logs.
  • Allocate mandatory training company wide within our Access/LMS training platform.
  • Maintain FCA registrations, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.

Competency Assessments:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for mortgage and protection advice standards.
  • Conduct QA checks and maintain accurate sampling logs for regulatory compliance.
  • Provide constructive feedback on QA checks and identify training needs.
  • Participate in call levelling sessions and report compliance risks.

Skills & KPI Reviews:

  • Collaborate with L&D Lead to review and monitor KPIs.
  • Utilise MI to assess sales conversions and address underperformance.
  • Support skills matrix reviews and set expectations for improvement.

Other:

  • Independently manage workloads to achieve set targets.
  • Design, develop and deliver training in a remote environment to new and existing colleagues.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Support in the recruitment of new mortgage and protection experts.

What you’ll get to own:

  • Design and delivery of world class training to new and existing mortgage and protection experts, case managers and mortgage administrators.
  • Completing all mandatory training and testing.
  • Mentoring new experts through their journey to competency, and support existing staff in realising their potential.
  • Completing the monitoring assessments for all pre CAS experts.
  • Maintaining audit log of all monitoring activities completed.
  • One to One feedback and coaching sessions for all pre CAS experts
  • Remote working
  • Basic Salary of £35k
  • Work from anywhere in the world for up to 30 days per year

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CeMAP 1,2 & 3
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Learning and Development / Training role within Financial services is required.
  • A strong background and extensive knowledge of both Mortgage and Protection products is essential.
