We are in search of a highly skilled and licensed Loan Escrow Officer to become an integral part of our expanding team, operating remotely within the USA. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role, ensuring the seamless progression of real estate deals from initiation to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the entire escrow process to ensure a flawless transaction experience.
- Prepare, review, and organize all necessary documentation with precision.
- Maintain clear and effective communication among buyers, sellers, lenders, and involved parties.
- Draft and adhere to escrow instructions to guarantee all conditions are fulfilled prior to closing.
- Manage and protect funds in accordance with legal standards, ensuring utmost security.
- Uphold compliance with current laws and regulations, safeguarding the integrity of each deal.
- Collaborate with title companies to facilitate title insurance issuance and resolve any title-related issues that may arise.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring all parties are well-informed and satisfied throughout the process.
- Maintain accurate and secure records within our digital system.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential challenges in the escrow process.
- Stay current with the latest regulations in escrow and lending to enhance service delivery.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of escrow procedures, title insurance, and mortgage lending practices.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Keen attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Proficiency in escrow management software and office productivity tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster collaborative interactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or real estate is advantageous.
- A valid Escrow Officer License in your state of employment is essential.
- A Title Insurance Producer/Agent License may be required based on state regulations.
- Familiarity with RESPA and TILA regulations is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in escrow, mortgage, real estate, or a related field, with experience in both residential and commercial transactions considered a significant advantage.
