Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and meticulous Loan Escrow Officer to become a pivotal part of our esteemed team. In this position, you will oversee the escrow processes pertinent to real estate and mortgage transactions, ensuring strict compliance with legal standards and lender specifications. Your role will facilitate seamless interactions among buyers, sellers, lenders, and various stakeholders, contributing to the overall efficiency of every transaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete escrow process, encompassing the initiation, maintenance, and closure of escrow accounts, ensuring all documents and funds align with contractual and legal stipulations.
• Prepare and meticulously review key documents such as deeds, settlement statements, and loan paperwork to ensure precision and adherence to state and federal guidelines.
• Act as an approachable intermediary among buyers, sellers, lenders, title companies, and real estate professionals, promoting timely and successful closings.
• Draft and execute escrow instructions based on mutual agreements, ensuring all stipulated terms are met before finalization.
• Safeguard and administer the distribution of escrow funds, adhering to legal and contractual frameworks while facilitating timely payments for property-related expenses.
• Ensure compliance across all escrow files with applicable laws and company policies, including RESPA and TILA regulations.
• Collaborate with title companies to issue title insurance policies while addressing any discrepancies prior to closing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining proactive and clear communication with all involved parties, effectively addressing inquiries to sustain high satisfaction levels.
• Maintain comprehensive records of escrow accounts, documentation, and closing transactions within our database.
• Identify and address potential transaction discrepancies or issues, working in tandem with other departments for swift resolutions.
• Stay abreast of evolving escrow, title, and lending regulations to guarantee compliance with the latest legal and financial standards.

Required Skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
• An Escrow Officer License is mandatory in the state of service.
• Familiarity with RESPA and TILA regulations is essential.
• 3-5 years of experience in escrow, mortgage, real estate, or a related sector is preferred.
