Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the Sales & Service team, offering exemplary service to both internal and external clients.
  • Efficiently manage inbound customer service inquiries, ensuring professionalism and promptness.
  • Oversee the processing and coordination of sales orders, parts shipments, and machine sales with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies in collaboration with customers, service teams, and engineering departments.
  • Provide timely updates and detailed reports on sales orders, budgets, and backorders to relevant stakeholders.
  • Handle returned goods procedures and issue service parts credits.
  • Work alongside traffic teams and customers to manage international shipping documentation effectively.
  • Verify freight costs and address discrepancies in coordination with vendors and management.
  • Organize the domestic and international movement of machines and parts.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Customer Service or Sales capacity, specifically in order processing.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, with JD Edwards being a notable advantage.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DocuSign and Salesforce.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and a sound understanding of international trade procedures, including incoterms.
  • In-depth knowledge of export/import documentation and customs regulations.
  • Experience with shipping software and data entry systems is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with a knack for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solver thriving in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Qualifications

  • An Associate degree in Business is preferred.
