Luxolis Android Developer (Remote)

Luxolis 3D Connect is an advanced 3D scanning and data capture platform, designed to revolutionize industries like construction, manufacturing, and automation through powerful AI-driven analysis and collaboration tools. We are scaling globally, with clients such as LG, Hanwha, and Samik, and expanding into the U.S., Japan, and Canada.

We are looking for a talented Android Developer to join our innovative team. You will play a critical role in building our Android application for Luxolis 3D Connect, focusing on delivering a seamless user experience for 3D scanning, analysis, and collaboration features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the Luxolis 3D Connect Android application.
• Implement 3D scanning and model visualization features within the mobile app using appropriate SDKs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to implement new features and improve app performance.
• Optimize the app for performance, scalability, and reliability, especially with real-time data processing from 3D models.
• Integrate the app with cloud services like AWS to store and manage large 3D data files.
• Conduct unit tests and performance tuning to ensure high-quality releases.
• Keep up with the latest industry trends, technologies, and tools in Android development and 3D technologies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of experience in Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK and mobile development lifecycle.
• Experience with 3D graphics, AR/VR frameworks, or computer vision SDKs (OpenGL, Unity3D, ARCore, or similar).
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and handling data in mobile applications.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD processes, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries for networking and image processing.
• Strong communication skills in English and/or Korean.

Nice-to-Have:

• Previous experience with 3D scanning technologies or working in AI/ML environments.
• Familiarity with AR/XR Glass integration (Meta, Apple).
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and how to optimize them for mobile applications.
