Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Channel Manager to oversee and enhance video content for leading creators on platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This essential role involves developing and executing social strategies that align with our clients’ goals and our mission of empowering creators. You will report directly to the Head of Amplify.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload and optimize video content across various platforms.
- Review client content, developing packaging strategies and paper edits for scheduled clips.
- Create engaging post copy and visually appealing thumbnails for video content.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and clients through Slack and email, ensuring a professional partnership.
- Analyze performance metrics, consistently reviewing channels and pages to recognize successful trends that can drive further achievements.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while tracking edits and planning content strategies using Monday.com.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest social trends, platform updates, and timely topics.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media content and strategy.
- Proven track record as a Channel Manager on platforms such as YouTube, Meta Business Suite, and others.
- Ability to conceptualize creative video packaging, including editing and design.
- Comprehensive understanding of algorithms, SEO, and audience growth strategies.
- Basic knowledge of post-production workflows, including video editing in Adobe Premiere and crafting thumbnails in Photoshop.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and with clients.
- Strong organizational abilities and project management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with diverse groups.
- Creative visionary with an editorial and strategic mindset.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing content on social media platforms is essential.
- Educational background in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation
- $40/hour, 40 hours per week.
- This role is a contract-to-hire position.
