Wh at y ou ’l l do:

• Manage a team of Client Service Consultants
• Clearly communicate and monitor Postmedia’s advertising platform s and sales workflow s to facilitate the timely achievement and accurate reporting of all assigned revenues;
• Manage key performance indicators (KPI) as determined by Postmedia and conduct regular coaching of team members;
• Develop knowledge, expertise and insights into the customer’s businesses
• Maintain contact with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and deal with customer escalations in a timely and professional way;
• Monitor and track business plan progress, initiating corrective activity, and communicating plan results internally;
• Implement a consultative, multi-platform sales approach with clients, coaching client service consultants , attend joint client calls; professionally represent Postmedia as the face of advertising platforms within assigned territory

Who you are:

• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Sales or another related discipline;
• Minimum of 3 years in media sales and previous management /team lead experience;
• Expertise in consultative audience based selling and proven negotiation skills;
• A solid track record of inspiring and mentoring sales professionals;
• Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment and work well under pressure
• Skilled at earning the trust of clients by displaying and understanding their business needs and the right solutions to meet them
• Comfortable expanding your role parameters as needed to get the job done
• Skilled at analyzing data and deriving/communicating insights to meet client objectives
• Strong communications skills; both written and oral
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A bility to manage and organize m arketing campaigns
• Provide strategic guidance on identifying and engaging with media, analysts and influencers
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• K nowledge of Digital Strategy along with a competent level of technical ability an asset
• Be informed and able to discuss digital trends and current industry issues
• Be aware of and able to articulate client’s digital strategy
• Bilingualism in French and English is a definite asset
