We are in search of an accomplished Manager, Field Marketing Programs to spearhead our marketing initiatives within retail environments. This role offers a unique opportunity for you to bridge the gap between our marketing department and retail locations, ensuring seamless execution of our marketing strategies, store renovations, and product displays.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Implementation: Formulate and execute comprehensive plans for launching marketing campaigns and store projects effectively.
- Effective Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring clear and concise communication among the marketing, operations, and retail teams.
- Problem Anticipation and Resolution: Proactively identify potential challenges and keep relevant parties informed to maintain project timelines.
- Sales and Merchandising Insights: Provide critical sales and merchandising intelligence to guide marketing and operational decisions.
- Product Placement Management: Supervise the strategic placement of products in accordance with established plans and seasonal demands.
- Store Layout Optimization: Recommend enhancements for store layouts to maximize product visibility and customer engagement.
- Operational Assessments: Conduct regular site visits to evaluate store conditions, product placements, and promotional displays, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Advocacy for Innovation: Suggest improvements for products and services aimed at boosting sales performance.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work in partnership with vendors and maintenance teams to ensure timely setup of displays and merchandise.
- Market Intelligence Sharing: Contribute valuable insights from the field to keep us competitive.
- Promotional Material Oversight: Manage the strategic placement of promotional items to capture customer attention.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with store teams to ensure a smooth delivery and assembly of materials for store resets or renovations.
- Additional Project Engagement: Willingly undertake supplementary projects that align with our organizational objectives.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in marketing principles and retail operations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational capabilities.
- Financial acumen with the ability to interpret profit and loss (P&L) and capital expenditure (CapEx) reports.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or relevant experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in field marketing or retail operations.
- Proven leadership experience in store merchandising, particularly in the convenience store sector.
- A valid driver’s license with a spotless driving record.
