Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire content creation process for two prominent platforms, including a high-traffic urban planning website and a professional online education hub featuring over 350 video courses.
• Develop and implement a data-driven editorial strategy that aligns with the organizational vision and objectives.
• Set editorial priorities, manage the content budget, and represent the content team within leadership by reporting on key performance metrics and initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to achieve common goals.
• Curate, compose, and edit a variety of content including news articles, blogs, and features.
• Maintain editorial calendars to ensure timely delivery of content and manage recruitment efforts for writers and creators.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in urban planning to ensure content relevance and resonance with a national audience.
• Supervise and support a small team, including an Editor and a Video Producer, ensuring high-quality output through regular check-ins and clear priority setting.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in media, journalism, or communications.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and content management capabilities.
• Familiarity with urban planning concepts and the media landscape.
• Proven success in increasing website traffic and audience engagement.
• Experience with SEO, analytics, and tools such as CMS, Adobe Suite, and Google Workspace.
