Marine Sales Representative (Remote)

Marine Sales Representative – Permanent – Remote – £50-£55k OTE Navis Consulting are working with a Marine Equipment supplier to help find their next Sales Representative. The Sales Rep will be responsible for developing and managing their technical marine key accounts and seeking new business opportunities. Key Tasks: Identify new business opportunities and sell equipment into existing accounts across the marine customers in non-retail channel. i.e. boatbuilders, large boat yards, specialist accounts & OEM accounts, to expand product range brand representation. Obtain the maximum profit and turnover whilst building strong customer relations. Quarterly account reviews with key accounts to maximise business development for existing accounts. Deliver turnover and profit vs budget to achieve Marine annual budget targets by and extending brand ranges in existing accounts. Sales, as directed, into non-marine channel, to explore and approach potential customers in other industries, actively selling and reporting back. Expansion of sales into new industry/market sectors. Engaging with the technical support teams to ensure that customers support needs are met and ensuring that the company delivers excellent customer service. General support with customer to promote relationship and increase sales. Utilise CRM to capture leads and report progress against sales targets. Attend exhibitions both in an active selling role and as a fact-finding exercise. Be seen to be proactive and successful – give correct image plus keep in touch with the market. From time to time, you may be required to give technical support for Marine Equipment products. Network with other division ASM’s to leverage business opportunities. Increase customer base and sales opportunities across all Divisions. Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years experience in a field sales role Minimum of 5 years experience in the leisure marine industry Marine equipment product knowledge Knowledge of UK boat building market Computer literate with ability to prepare quotes and presentations Self-motivated and able to plan calls The company will provide the successful candidate with a competitive salary alongside a good commission scheme and a fully expenses company vehicle.
