Job Responsibility:
– Prepare the design of a wide range of marine structures, including production of technical reports, written calculations, design briefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like.
– Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
– Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
– Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
– Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
– Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
– Safety – Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
– HSE – Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

– A relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
– Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership preferable
– Familiar with British, European and International standards and other construction practices, such as PIANC.
– Knowledge of the design of a range of marine structures such as different types of quay walls, jetties, dolphins, sea water intakes/outfalls and pumping stations.
– Experienced in the use of industry software.
Job Specific Experience:
– Relevant design experience on a range of marine projects.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
– Experience working in the Middle East.
