Job Summary

This position is responsible for driving the adoption of TherOx SSO2 therapy and support its commercial development in Middle East, with specific focus on the Gulf Region

Essential Job Functions

Clinical excellence and market knowledge to challenge, modify and prioritize regional strategies:

  • Identify and drive clinical evidence opportunities, close collaboration with market access and clinical affairs teams.
  • Maintain clinical product knowledge and knowledge of industry trends, their local/regional impacts
  • Maintain/develop good understanding of countries health policies, pricing/reimbursement strategies and customer needs
  • Interpret clinical evidence and overcome objections.
  • Provide SSO2 therapy education to the physician specialists, advanced practice providers and medical practice personnel that manage STEMI patients (heart failure, interventional cardiology, internal medicine) with the goal of increasing therapy awareness. Facilitate meetings with new sites on a monthly basis
  • Participates in customer/society education meetings and conventions

Business Management & Sales Execution

  • Identify targeted commercial opportunities for TherOx and develop appropriate objective driven business plans.
  • Manage selling efforts for the achievement of planned sales, revenue, and objectives within the area of competence.
  • Develop strategies for continued growth consistent with the overall objectives of the organization.
  • Achieve sales targets, goals, objectives, and specific strategies and plans to meet and/or exceed those goals.
  • Develop budgets and business plans for the area.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize distributor performance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Business partners scouting, selection and support cultivating relationships from a transactional to a strategic level, fostering optimal common value creation. Work with BP and per diems on segmentation and targeting of accounts.
  • Conduct reporting and forecasting on commercial results derived from commercial activities.
  • Engaging in strategic negotiations of commercial contracts, including terms and conditions, with partners at European level

Build & Maintain Relationships

  • Identify, build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across the Country
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively promote TherOx products to appropriate hospital personnel and physiciansMeet with a variety of physicians and other hospital personnel to determine customers’ needs, goals, product usage, and types of cases handled.

Required / Preferred Education And Experience

  • Degree in engineering, sciences or medicine
  • multiple years clinical or sales experience; selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products.
  • Experience with wires, balloons, catheters, stents is nice to have
  • Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers and technical support personnel.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent influencing and consulting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating programs.
  • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels and functions.
  • Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position
