Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Marketing Project Manager who combines project management expertise with account management skills. This role is crucial for managing marketing projects, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring consistent communication. You’ll coordinate with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time, maintain high standards, and implement automated workflows to optimize our operations. A deep understanding of digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and a client-centered approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Account Management
- Lead and manage marketing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with deadlines and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and marketing strategies tailored to client goals and objectives.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, addressing inquiries, and providing progress updates regularly.
- Ensure clients’ needs are met through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Client Communication & Support
- Engage clients through Intercom, handling inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring exceptional customer support.
- Exhibit strong client communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful tone in all interactions, building trust and rapport with clients.
- Process Optimization & Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline project workflows using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Develop and implement automated processes to increase efficiency and simplify project tracking, reporting, and client updates.
- Monitor client interactions to ensure they receive timely support and solutions.
- Tracking, Analytics, & Performance Monitoring
- Implement tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to measure project performance, marketing metrics, and client outcomes.
- Provide data-driven insights on ROI, effectiveness, and areas for improvement, creating regular reports for internal and client review.
- Use analytics to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and support data-backed recommendations for clients.
- Tool Proficiency & Task Management
- Set up and manage tasks, sprints, and workflows in Jira, coordinating with the team for seamless collaboration.
- Organize project documentation, strategies, and best practices in Confluence, making resources accessible for efficient reference.
- Ensure data integrity and maintain consistency across all platforms and communication channels.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 2-3 years in project management and account management within a marketing or digital agency.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, tracking, analytics, and campaign planning.
- Client Communication: Excellent communication skills in fluent English, with the ability to build rapport and handle client interactions professionally. A clear and neutral accent is preferred.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Intercom is required, along with familiarity with analytics and project management tools.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience in optimizing workflows and implementing automation for efficiency.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled in analyzing data and tracking metrics to support informed, data-driven decisions.
- Time Management & Organization: Highly organized, with strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Background in Digital Marketing: Direct experience in SEO, content marketing, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies.
- Experience with Subscription-Based Models: Familiarity with recurring revenue and subscription service models.
