Marketing And Visualization Designer (Remote)

We are a smart team of doers that work passionately to apply innovative advances in software to surface real-world operational risks faced by companies. In RANE, the Product & Technology team define and build tools to gain insight & foresight into happenings around the world that impact a company’s operational risk. Our systems sift through voluminous news, cyber, regulatory & legal media to provide our clients with succinct and relevant risk intelligence. We’re looking for a freelance marketing and visualization designer to help bring more excitement and visibility to our content. 

Job Responsibilities: 

As a UX Designer, you will: 

• Create design solutions for RANE’s public-facing marketing web pages, based on user research and collaboration with internal teams, that align with RANE’s style standards

• Create design requirements for web pages used on laptops, mobile & tablets

• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to design and maintain the UI development framework with HTML, Javascript, & CSS 

• Create visual assets that RANE uses for advertising, promotion, and online presence 

Basic Qualifications: 

• 3+ years’ experience as UI/UX designer for web and mobile products,, including expert use of design tools like Figma and Adobe Suite 

• 2+ years’ experience with implementing responsive design 

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript 

• Excellent communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with creating data products and data visualization solutions – both static images and dynamic web visualizations 

Additional Requirements: 

• This is a virtual role. U.S.-based applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. The position is fully remote for those based in either of these cities.
