Position Summary
Do you love the psychology behind social media strategies? Do you think well placed memes can boost a brand’s sentiment online? Are you always on top of the new social media trends?
If yes, then this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic Marketing Team! We are a firm that produces popular multi-platform, research-driven educational financial content for Canadians. This role will focus primarily on establishing and managing the firm’s social media presence. The Marketing Assistant will also be assisting the Marketing Team in day-to-day responsibilities as well as large projects.
Responsibilities & Activities
- Manage the firm’s content platforms for social media, podcast, and video content (YouTube, Libsyn, Social Media channels, etc.).
- Assist the Marketing Team in day-to-day activities and larger projects.
- Create and track e-mail marketing campaigns.
- Keep website content up to date and accurate.
- Support the development of content for the firm.
- Manage daily marketing requests coming from teams.
- Organize and coordinate projects in the Marketing Department planner.
- Assist with the implementation of marketing and communications campaigns.
- Compile results and report on marketing initiatives
All other related tasks as assigned.
Desired Credentials
- Minimum 1-2 years of marketing and communications experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Deep interest in social media and content development strategy
- Ability to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a remote team environment
- Willingness to learn in a team and individually
- Experience with Adobe Cloud Suite or Canva an asset
- Experience with WordPress an asset
- Experience with Squarespace an asset
