This unique opportunity involves managing TRIA’s professional and collegiate sports sponsorships in the Twin Cities and spearheading sports medicine-focused marketing efforts. As a key player, you will shape TRIA’s presence in the athletic community while advancing our reputation as a leader in sports and orthopedic care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or four plus (4+) years’ equivalent years of professional experience
- Three (3) years of marketing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience managing budgets effectively.
- Ability to work with urgency and excellent follow through on commitments.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Takes responsibility for decisions, actions, and failures. Shows personal commitment and acts to continuously improve.
- Clear, timely and effective communicator that actively listens and appreciates multiple perspectives.
- Proactively develops relationship with partners and colleagues and takes ownership of maintaining key relationships.
- Builds rapport in an open, friendly, and accepting way.
- Demonstrates ability to actively problem solve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or orthopedic marketing
- Knowledge of sports medicine, professional sports, or athletic partnerships
- Experience in highly regulated field with legal, compliance and privacy related components
- Experience working with B2B and consumer facing marketing.
- Experience working with sales, business partners, physician leadership or athletic organizations is a plus.
- Background as an athlete or passionate sports enthusiast
Hours/Location:
- Schedule: M-F, daytime hours
- Work Arrangement: Primarily remote (95%); occasional office days with advance notice.
- Travel: On-site meetings with sports and community partners in the Twin Cities
Responsibilities
- Lead Marketing Projects: Independently manages medium to large-scale marketing initiatives focused on sports medicine and orthopedics.
- Sports Sponsorship Management: Oversees relationships and activation for TRIA’s professional and collegiate sports sponsorships both internally and externally, including leadership.
- Strategic Marketing: Contributes to and leads elements of the marketing strategic plan, with a focus on aligning strategies to sports and orthopedic care.
- Execution and Oversight: Approves marketing deliverables, ensures timely execution, and seeks appropriate approvals when needed.
- Relationship Building: Engages with internal and external stakeholders, including athletic organizations, professional teams, and community partners.
- Industry Knowledge: Stays ahead of trends in sports medicine and orthopedics, leveraging insights to enhance TRIA’s marketing efforts.
- Innovation and Problem Solving: Continuously improves partnerships, strategies, and tactics through creative thinking and proactive solutions.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
